The Monash Master of International Development Practice (MIDP) is for students and professionals who want to make a difference in the world by participating in and leading meaningful transformation.

MIDP program at Monash creates an opportunity for the students to choose from diverse options of electives. Delivered by specialists from the humanities, social sciences, medicine, business, education and law, the Master of International Development Practice offers a broad approach to sustainable development with six specialist streams:

- Gender, peace and security
- Crisis, change management and leadership
- Sustainable resource management
- Sustainable economies
- Global migration
The students of the Master of International Development Practice also get an opportunity to be matched with an industry partner in the field through Monash University’s multi-sector partnerships and mentoring programs which match students with a development practitioner from around the world based on shared interests.
Monash University also offers a dual degree of Master of International Development Practice in collaboration with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, India.
