Cliodhna Malone
ClĂodhna is a final year MDP student at Trinity College, Dublin. She has a BA in International Development and German from Maynooth University, a Foundation Certificate in Youth Leadership and Community Action from NUI Galway, and will be commencing a PG Diploma in Global Citizenship Education in Maynooth University in September. She has a keen interest in gender, disability, and environmental studies, with a keen focus on the potential of young people in creating sustainable change. She has volunteered with various projects using social media campaigns to educate young people about mental health. From here, she now creates social media campaigns for her local Tidy Towns Initiative to encourage young people to be more educated and get more involved in climate justice and respecting the environment. She hopes she can bring this experience and her creativity and passion for outreach into her SAAC role. Her hobbies include playing and coaching Gaelic football, public speaking, hiking and anything to do with the outdoors.
