Alejo Sanchez

Alejandro Sanchez or, Alejo as he is better known, is a Colombian MDP alumni at the University of Florida. Alejo has broad experience in environment and sustainable development-related topics. From working with communities in extreme poverty in Colombia, to advising startups on environmental matters in Silicon Valley, and most recently, facilitating the adoption of data-driven agriculture for Mayan smallholder farmers in Mexico, he has experienced firsthand the powerful impacts that sustainability can have. He graduated this past April, but he is still an active part of the North American Chapter of the SAAC. Now as a vice-chair, he wants to continue working towards achieving the tremendous potential that the Global MDP Network has.
